This optical power meter stands in compliance with RoHS regulations and seamlessly integrates calibration information upon detector connection, thereby facilitating precise unit measurements and appropriate measurement ranges. This power meter is engineered to accommodate both low-power photodiode detectors and high-power thermopile detectors. Distinguished by an LCD display, the 1916-R encompasses an array of functionalities, including attenuator selection, wavelength details, and measurement data. Notably, when battery depletion reaches a level that could compromise accurate measurements, the power meter promptly alerts the user by displaying "LO" in lieu of the chosen measurement value. The front panel is equipped with essential controls, such as the power toggle, zero/dBm adjustment, attenuator selection, data storage, as well as navigation keys for ascending and descending values.
