The 201AN-AC6 by Newport is a 3 1/2 Digit AC Power Line Monitor Meter that utilizes a half-wave rectifier that has been precisely calibrated to accurately read the Root Mean Square (RMS) value of sinusoidal signals. The 201AN-AC6 has a dual input range capability that can be switched between using a jumper-selectable option. One input can measure voltages in the range of 50 to 650 V with a resolution of 1 V, with optimized accuracy for 230 Vac while the other input can measure voltages ranging from 50.0 Vac to 199.9 Vac with a resolution of 100 mV, offering optimized accuracy for 115 Vac.

The 201AN-AC6 fits a standard 1/8 DIN panel cutout and requires minimal panel depth, demanding less than 104 mm of space behind the panel. This feature ensures a compact and efficient installation. The meter also includes a screw-terminal barrier strip for both power and signal connections, facilitating secure and reliable connections. Furthermore, it offers a range of mechanical options to cater to various application needs. These options encompass a board-edge connector, a display TEST feature, a display HOLD function, and +4.7V and -4.7V output terminals with a splash-proof lens cover. This lens cover meets the stringent NEMA 4 (IP65) requirements, making the meter suitable for use in challenging environments. The 201AN-AC6 boasts display hold and test capabilities, an automatic zero function, as well as a 14 mm LED display.
