It offers the flexibility of accommodating both single-ended and differential-ended line receivers, with support for common Baud rates. This module excels in displaying not only numeric data but also an array of selectable characters, granting the option to include decimal points and negative signs as needed. One of the notable operational modes of the module is its 'strobed' mode, wherein data transmission to the display is synchronized with the reception of a carriage return. Conversely, the 'shift' mode presents an alternative by displaying characters in correspondence with their positions within the input shift register. For enhanced versatility, the 6155AS incorporates two additional modes tailored for 'remote display' functionality, enabling seamless connection to compatible 269 and P6000 panel meters.
