It is imperative to ensure seamless operation by aligning the type of slit assembly at both the input and output ports of the device. This assembly boasts the capability of offering continuously adjustable height within the range of 3 mm to 12 mm with a repeatability margin of ±10 μm. Additionally, it provides a continuously variable width spanning from 4 μm to 3 mm. The 74001 achieves a remarkable accuracy level of ±5% within the range of 250 μm to 3 mm and maintains an accuracy margin of ±10 μm for measurements within the 4 to 250 μm range. This assembly is designed to integrate with various optical instruments, including the MS260i 1/4m spectrographs, Cornerstone 260 1/4m monochromators, the redesigned Cornerstone 130B 1/8m monochromators, legacy Cornerstone 130 1/8m monochromators, as well as the 77250 manually operated monochromators.
