The INF-B-C24 by Newport is a 1/8 DIN Ultra High Performance Meter designed to offer exceptional functionality across a wide array of DC voltage and current ranges, encompassing nine distinct thermocouple types, multiple RTDs, and signals from strain gauge transducers, such as load cells, pressure transducers, and potentiometric inputs. Distinguished by its accuracy of up to ±0.005% of reading and a rapid data acquisition rate of up to 166 readings per second, this meter is optimized for precision. Users have the flexibility to tailor the INF-B-C24 for specific applications through the ten-point linearization of input signal features.

The INF-B-C24 facilitates direct integration into Ethernet networks, enabling seamless data transmission using the standard TCP/IP protocol. The meter interface is versatile, allowing users to toggle between different options using the push-button menu, including Serial Communications. The INF-B-C24 showcases a vibrant 6-digit patented LED display, which can be programmed to exhibit various colors. Red indicates alarm conditions, Amber signifies normal operational states, and Green displays process values during warm-up phases. These color transitions can be programmed based on set points or alarm thresholds, with the option to reset upon value normalization or retain until manual reset. Display legibility is enhanced, featuring digits that are 58% larger than standard displays. The meter offers isolated programmable analog voltage and four relay output alternatives.

The built-in excitation power source of the INF-B-C24 accommodates virtually any sensor or transmitter, and the four isolated open collector outputs cater to alarm and control needs. The meter's signal input selection is easily navigated through the front panel push buttons or series and Ethernet communications. Employing patented thermocouple linearization algorithms, the INF-B-C24 ensures the highest degree of accuracy. Compatibility with a diverse range of RTDs ensures precise RTD measurements.
