The INFP-0 by Newport is an advanced Infinity Process Panel Meter engineered to cater to a diverse range of measurement needs. It offers the capability to precisely measure a wide spectrum of DC voltage and current ranges, multiple Resistance Temperature Detectors (RTDs), and an array of inputs sourced from pressure transducers, load cells, strain gauges, and potentiometric inputs. The INFP-0 boasts a notable 6 full digits, rendering it particularly suitable for high-demanding process control applications.

The INFP-0 is distinguished by its front panel programmability, accommodating a versatile selection of input types such as 0-20 and 4-20 mAdc current inputs, both unipolar and bipolar DC voltage inputs, and potentiometer inputs. It has been designed to seamlessly accept inputs from various process sensors including potentiometers, pressure transducers, and transmitters. Featuring a user-friendly interface, the INFP-0 incorporates five intuitively positioned panel buttons on its front interface. Moreover, for enhanced convenience, remote display parameter configuration is achievable through the incorporation of RS-232 or RS-485 communication options. The parameters accessible for display configuration encompass BCD outputs, relay outputs, and RS-232 or RS-485 communications.

The INFP-0 encompasses an integrated excitation system that facilitates the virtual powering of transmitters and sensors. It also boasts the provision of four standard setpoints, granting users the flexibility to implement alarms or control mechanisms within their systems. The meter stands out with its exceptional accuracy, exhibiting a precision of 0.005% accuracy of reading. It offers a comprehensive selection of 12 DC input ranges, with sensor excitation available at either 10 or 24 V DC. The INFP-0 is also equipped with valuable features like peak and valley detection and memory, external tare functionality, and a rapid maximum reading rate of 13 readings per second. This meter guarantees non-volatile memory retention without reliance on a battery backup. Furthermore, it presents four isolated open collector outputs and provides the option for isolated relay, isolated BCD, and isolated analog outputs.
