The Newport LBP2-HR-VIS3 is a Laser Beam Profiler equipped with powerful software-driven capabilities for comprehensive beam diagnostic measurements. Its key features include a 1/1.8 inch format 1624 x 1224 pixel CCD camera, covering a wide wavelength range from 190 nm to 110 nm. The LBP2-HR-VIS3 enables quick spatial beam profile measurements with its intuitive application software. This profiler supports industry-standard data file formats, performs statistical analysis of all measured parameters, and offers pass/fail testing on most of these parameters. It utilizes the patented Ultracal algorithm to ensure highly accurate measurements.
The LBP2-HR-VIS3 also boasts an extensive set of 13694, ISO 11145, and 11146-1/-3 measurements, ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards. It is compatible with a LBP2-SAM series beam sampler attachment, allowing users to measure laser beams with 15 mm maximum diameters and 10 mW to about 400 Watts power ranges. The beam sampler effectively corrects polarization components to restore the original beam polarization. The beam sampler transmits approximately 99% of the beam while reflecting only 0.01% to the camera. The LBP2-HR-VIS3 is equipped with stackable neutral density filters with a 19 mm clear aperture and a damage threshold of 5 W/cm, providing users with control over the light intensity.
The software interface of the LBP2-HR-VIS3 is user-friendly and offers a wide variety of functions. The software interface provides ISO approved quantitative results and ensures accuracy through the patented UltraCal algorithm, which calibrates the "zero-reference point" to within a digital count of 1/10 a pixel-by-pixel basis. The Phosphor coating technology integrated into the LBP2-HR-VIS3 allows users to view near-infrared (NIR) lasers and light sources accurately. The Gamma is corrected with the Gamma Correction function embedded in the software, resulting in a precise, linear image of the beam profile and enabling analysis of NIR beams that is cost-effective.
The LBP2-HR-VIS3 offers various features, including multi-instance/multi-camera support, simultaneous 2D and 3D display, and compatibility with both high and low-resolution USB cameras. It also incorporates auto-setup and auto-exposure capabilities for user convenience. Designed for entry-level or basic profiling needs, the LBP2-HR-VIS3 is a cost-effective solution that operates on modern multi-core advanced Pentium-generation personal computers running Windows 7 or later operating systems. The profiler employs advanced patented calibration algorithms for numerical beam profile analysis. Among its additional features, the profiler includes enhanced window layout tools, continuous zoom scaling, results logging with export capabilities to Excel, and a Configurable Report Generator, allowing users to conveniently copy and paste results, images, and settings from .PDF file types.
