The Q2000-P by Newport is a Process Signal Digital Panel Meter that is comprised of three integral components: the main assembly, signal conditioner, and interface, all seamlessly enclosed within a compact 1/8 DIN case. The main assembly features two prominent elements: the main board and the display board. The display board permanently affixed to the main assembly at a precise 90-degree angle, which serves as the foundation for various mounting requirements, accommodating circuit components, power supply elements, and connectors. The Q2000-P has strategically positioned connectors that serve as entry points for multiple extensions, including the signal conditioner, an optional analog card, and a discretionary controller/communications interface card. It is important to note that the latter card necessitates the removal of the bypass push-on jumper. Central to the display board's operation is an integrated analog-to-digital converter, an LED or LCD display unit, and a push-on jumper, a crucial component for programming decimal points. This feature empowers users with precise control over numerical presentation. Furthermore, the main board connector doubles its utility by enabling seamless decimal point programming.
