The Q9000-AVR4 by Newport is a 1/8 DIN DC Voltmeter designed specifically for deployment in electrically-noisy industrial environments. This meter offers the capability to transmit two-wire current-loop signals to a central control room while also affording local control and alarm functionalities through the integration of control and analog outputs. The 1/8 DIN form factor is equipped with convenient screw terminals that facilitate power and signal connections across a broad spectrum of configurations. The Q9000-AVR4 boasts a standardized LED display as its primary interface, but also provides the option to incorporate an LCD display for enhanced visibility in well-lit ambient conditions. This voltmeter is equipped with a NEMA 4 (IP65) rated splash-proof lens cover. The meter's signal input and power connections are conveniently facilitated through a rear barrier terminal strip.

The Q9000-AVR4 is equipped with a motherboard rear edge connector, offering convenient access to polarity, clock, hold, and test functions, as well as standard analog output and optional analog output configurations. Decimal point positions can be easily selected via jumpers, while additional output options are available through a horizontal upper board. These supplementary outputs encompass isolated and parallel BCD output, time-proportional 2 A solid-state relay control, 4 to 20 mA proportional control, dual-setpoint control with two 10 A relays, and single-setpoint control with one 10 A relay, effectively catering to a wide array of application requirements. The Q9000-AVR4's feature set includes automatic polarity detection, display hold and test capabilities, and a user-friendly screw-terminal barrier strip for expedited wiring. This meter can scale the top and bottom of each output range to align with user-defined display spans.
