The 8325D by Newport is a Dual-Output Temperature Controller (TEC) Module that has two independent 15 Watt outputs and offers multiple operating modes, including constant resistance (utilizing thermistors and RTD), AD592 current, LM335 voltage, or constant temperature modes. It is compatible with thermistor sensors, which provide temperature readings in degrees Celsius through a set of calibrated consonants. Users have the flexibility to fine-tune the sensor's calibration for enhanced accuracy. The 8325D can be integrated with an LDD module, enabling a proactive response to temperature-related issues. If the laser diode temperature exceeds a user-defined operational range, the LDD output is automatically disabled, and an error message is generated. This module features an independent ITE current limit mechanism, offering protection against current levels that surpass the maximum rating. Additionally, it incorporates an internal function generator and delivers high stability, maintaining a consistent 2.5 Amps at 6 Volts output.
