The IRV2-2000 by Newport is an Infrared (IR) Viewer, designed to operate within the wavelength range of 350 nm - 2000 nm. This viewer can be powered using either an external 3 VDC adapter or a battery. The IRV2-2000 can be easily utilized in handheld mode, facemask-mounted which enables hands-free operation, or post-mounted using a 1/4-20 internal thread. This viewer is ideal for a variety of applications including photo processing, night vision, thermal imaging, IR luminescence, fluorescence, semiconductor inspection, optical fiber alignment, and laser beam alignment tasks. Moreover, it is compatible with a forensic analysis on pigments and inks, as well as the location and alignment of Ti:Sapphire, Yb:KGW, Yb:YAG, Nd:YAG, and other IR lasers applications. The IRV2-2000 accommodates both 1X and 2X lens assemblies, which can be easily switched between. Notably, this viewer is designed with optimized features to facilitate the identification of stray IR reflections and the observation of dye, IR LEDs, GaAs laser diodes, and other IR sources. This makes it an invaluable tool for precise and accurate analysis in various IR-related applications.
