The P5004 by Newport is a Universal Counter, designed to excel in rapid, low-frequency measurements, including precise powerline monitoring with an impressive 5-digit accuracy achievable every 150 microseconds as well as a peak frequency of 7 MHz. This counter has a 6-digit 0.56-inch LED display, expertly designed to convey a variety of critical metrics such as frequency, tachometer readings, rate measurements, timer data, and totalizer information. The counter incorporates an RS-232 interface, enhancing its adaptability in various applications. The user-friendly interface of the P5004 empowers operators to effortlessly configure operating modes, scaling parameters, and setpoint criteria via conveniently positioned push buttons on the front panel.
