The i16D33-C24-AL by Newport is a 1/16 DIN Temperature, Process, and Strain PID Controller that is equipped with a single, user-friendly display that concurrently exhibits both process values and setpoints. Notably, the display is customizable to transition seamlessly between three distinct colors – RED, AMBER, and GREEN – in correspondence with specific setpoints or alarm thresholds. This controller boasts compatibility with RS-232 and RS-485 connectors, all within a single instrument, facilitating communication through the widely adopted MODBUS serial protocol and ASCII protocol. This controller offers seamless integration into Ethernet networks with an embedded Web server capability. The i16D33-C24-AL features front panel removable electronics, a NEMA 4 (IP65) rated front bezel, universal inputs to accommodate a wide array of sensors and instruments, an accuracy of 0.5°C (±0.9°F), and a reading resolution of 0.03%.
