The iDRN-ACV/N by Newport is an Analog and Digital Output Signal Conditioner that is designed to meet the exacting precision standards of laboratory instrumentation while also delivering the robust performance demanded by industrial applications of the highest caliber. This signal conditioner has been purposefully optimized to excel in a range of critical sectors, including industrial automation, process control, test & measurement, and data acquisition, all of which prioritize unwavering reliability, exceptional performance, and pinpoint accuracy. The iDRN-ACV/N is compatible with the standard 35 mm DIN rail mounting system and exhibits remarkable adaptability, operating seamlessly across a voltage spectrum spanning from 10 to 32 Vdc power. This adaptability extends to its compatibility with a wide array of measured signal inputs, encompassing frequency/pulse, AC current, AC voltage, RTD's, thermocouples, strain gage, and process (DC) voltage and current.
The iDRN-ACV/N features three-way isolation, which ensures a maximum isolation rating of 1800 V between the power supply, outputs, and signal inputs. This allows for direct compatibility with a diverse range of transducers and sensors, eliminating the need for additional components. The iDRN-ACV/N allows users to set output values to the desired specifications, while input scaling and other critical parameter configurations can be conveniently achieved by connecting the unit to a standard RS-232 port on a personal computer, utilizing a Windows-based setup software. Once these settings have been meticulously configured, they can be securely stored in non-volatile memory, affording the flexibility to disconnect the unit from the PC while retaining the established configurations. This signal conditioner features a resolution spanning from 10 to 14 Bits, an accuracy rate of 0.2%, as well as a full scale input range that spans from 400 mV to 400 V.
