The 562F-TILT by Newport is a Right-Handed Tilt Platform that provides two-axis (θYθZ) angular alignment of a fiber with minimal translation. For five degrees of freedom, this platform can be mounted to the top of an XYZ stage. This platform includes 100 TPI adjustment screws and can have fiber and device holders mounted to a rail on the top. Angular positioning of fiber optics is crucial for maximizing coupling efficiency while six degrees of positioning freedom can be achieved by combining the 562F-TILT with an ULTRAlign linear stage. Additionally, this platform is constructed from stainless steel to ensure long-term stability.
