The CMA-12CCCL by Newport is a Linear Actuator specifically designed to offer precise motion capabilities while accommodating a wide range of translation stages, mirror mounts, and OEM applications. Equipped with a DC Servo motor, the actuator incorporates ESP smart technology, enabling seamless compatibility with ESP Series motion controllers through a "plug and play" mechanism. With its exceptional sub-micron minimum incremental motion, the CMA-12CCCL ensures fine-grained control. This actuator stands out with its remarkable features, including a bi-directional repeatability of up to 15µm, a maximum rated load of 9 kg at 200 µm/sec, and an estimated mean time between failures (MTBF) of 2,000 hours. It incorporates integrated limit switches that provide feedback to the controller, ensuring reliable operation. Additionally, the actuator comes with a 4.6-meter cable equipped with standard input 25-pin sub D connectors.
