Users can take advantage of various positioning modes, including continuous path contouring, jogging, circular or linear interpolation, as well as synchronized and non-synchronized point-to-point movements. The electronic gearing feature allows any axis of the ESP301-2N to be "slaved" to another axis regardless, when when the lead screw pitches or motor/gear ratios are different. The motion controller also comes equipped with 16 bidirectional digital I/Os, which can be programmed by the user as either outputs or inputs for external or internal event synchronization.
