The RV350HAHLT by Newport is a Motorized Rotation Stage designed to meet the demands of high load capacity applications while ensuring precise angular positioning accuracy. With a 350 mm diameter, this stage features a DC drive equipped with a reduction gear, allowing for smooth and controlled movements. The RV350HAHLT features a direct reading encoder, which boasts high resolution and is complemented by a tachometer. These elements work together to provide exceptional speed regulation, position stability, and repeatability, ensuring reliable performance. Constructed with tool steel and ground bearing surfaces, this stage guarantees rotation accuracy, while its single monolithic design enhances stiffness.

The RV350HAHLT preloaded bearings are thoughtfully configured in a double row, minimizing the footprint while accommodating high off-center loads. The worm gear, hardened and precision grounded, enables precise rotation with a worm/gear ratio of 1/90. To ensure the safety of the equipment, limit switches and a home position search device are incorporated into the design. The RV350HAHLT offers flexibility in operation, allowing rotation over 360° or more by activating a switch that inhibits the limit switches. For applications requiring the utmost indexing accuracy, an optical encoder fixed on the mobile core is employed. While the stage allows rotation up to ±170° with uninhibited limit switches, it also features a convenient hexagon socket at the end of the drive screw. This feature enables manual movement of the mobile core using a compatible Allen wrench when necessary.
