The SR50CC by Newport is a Compact Motorized Rotation Stage meticulously engineered to facilitate the rotation of optical components measuring up to 1 inch in diameter like wedges, wave plates, polarizers, and similar components. Its compact size makes it exceptionally well-suited for utilization in confined spaces, such as manufacturing areas dedicated to fiber optical components, disk texturing machines, and laser cavities. Crafted with precision and attention to detail, the SR50CC embodies a low-profile, lightweight design, featuring an aluminum body fitted with preloaded ball bearings. These ball bearings not only contribute to the stage's lightweight construction but also ensure smooth and stable rotation, minimizing any undesirable wobbling effect.

With an outstanding 0.001° angular resolution and a minimum incremental motion of 0.004° achievable through its DC Servo motor, the SR50CC stands as a symbol of exceptional accuracy and precision. One of the key elements enhancing the performance of the stage is its precision ground worm gear. This gear mechanism consistently produces driving torque, maintaining a stable rotating carriage while eliminating variations in motor current. Moreover, the ingeniously folded motor within the SR50CC's body not only contributes to its compact footprint but also enhances its precision, making it a remarkable choice for demanding applications.

The SR50CC is also equipped with a hardware origin, enabling the stage to return to a reference home position with an impressive accuracy level of within 0.01°. Additionally, it offers a continuous rotation mode for seamless operation. A 3-meter cable is thoughtfully included, allowing convenient connection to a compatible motion controller, facilitating efficient control and management. With versatility in mind, the SR50CC boasts a central aperture threaded at 1.063-20 inches, accommodating retaining rings that enable the mounting of ø25.4 mm diameter optics within the aperture. To further enhance adaptability, four M3 holes are strategically integrated, enabling easy attachment of the stage to a custom top plate.
