The UTM25CC1HL by Newport is a Mid-Range Travel Translation Stage designed for utilization in applications that require higher dynamics and superior motion control accuracy. This stage is equipped with a DC-servo drive and a built-in tachometer as well as a steel construction with a backlash-compensated leadscrew and preloaded ball bearing slides. These components collectively facilitate high-performance motion across medium travel ranges. To safeguard against inadvertent overtravel, a mechanical limit switch is seamlessly integrated into the stage, preventing potential bearing damage. The UTM25CC1HL offers a unique center home position with an encoder index, affording flexibility in setting the reference position at either end of the stage's travel via an external switch. Additionally, this stage is also designed for compatibility with a wide range of motion controllers, accompanied by a 3-meter cable to optimize positioning performance.
