The UTM50CC1HL by Newport is a cost-effective high-power DC-Servo version of a Mid-Range Travel Linear Stage designed for various applications. Constructed with sturdy steel material and equipped with linear ball bearing slides that are preloaded, this stage ensures thermal stability and stiffness while optimizing space utilization. The UTM50CC1HL offers versatile drive options, including DC, stepper, and manual drives, as well as multiple feedback configurations. This stage features a center home position switch as well as an index pulse signal coming from an encoder, enabling accurate origin location. An external switch present on the stage's body allows the user to set the home position to either end of the stage's travel.

Featuring a backlash compensated lead screw with reduction gear, the UTM50CC1HL achieves impressive position stability and 1 µm resolution. Moreover, this linear stage is vacuum compatible, making it suitable for various environments. The lead screw undergoes diamond correction to ensure smooth and reliable motion.
