By integrating standard mount precision with Picomotor actuator resolution, this innovative mount ensures exceptional performance. Measuring at an increased thickness due to the housing of the actuator, this mount gains an additional 0.75 inches, allowing it to be conveniently placed within compact and busy setups like breadboards or optical tables. The axes of rotation of the 8812 converge precisely at the optic's center front surface, ensuring accurate alignment adjustments.

One distinctive feature of the 8812 is its unique ability to modify the beam angle without altering the beam path length, a capability not found in non-gimbal mounts. This attribute guarantees precise beam adjustments, which is particularly crucial in applications requiring exact optical alignment. The actuator of the 8812 offers remarkable angular resolution, boasting an impressive 0.7 µrad, enabling controlled and minute optical movements. The incorporation of integrated knobs enhances the manual adjustment process for all axes, providing a user-friendly experience.
