The PCH-1 by Newport is a Pockels Cell Positioner that is designed to facilitate precise and reproducible positioning of pockels cells and various other electro-optical devices. Distinguished by its compact form factor, this positioner seamlessly integrates into compact optical systems. Equipped with a pair of high-precision 80 TPI hex head screws, it excels at enabling angular adjustments with exceptional accuracy. To ensure stability in positioning, the PCH-1 offers the capability to secure the desired position through specialized opposing screws, while kinematic contact pads ensure translation that is exceptionally stable. When necessitating component rotation, a straightforward rotation of the positioner, followed by securing the insulating Delrin retaining cap, accomplishes this task efficiently. Additionally, users have the flexibility to employ spacers for making height adjustments in precise 0.125-inch increments.
