The ULM-TILT by Newport is a Cylindrical Laser Mount that offers a precise solution for achieving optimal angular adjustments along two axes. Designed to ensure stable and accurate positioning of cylindrical objects such as laser heads, this mount employs a robust kinematic three-point configuration to eliminate unwanted drift. By utilizing a dependable V-groove mechanism, the laser head is securely held in place using a nylon thumb screw, maintaining full-length contact for enhanced stability. This adaptable mount seamlessly integrates with 340-RC and 370-RC Rod Clamps, facilitating the seamless attachment of cylindrical lasers within the 1-1.75 inch diameter range to compatible positioners and tables. The ULM-TILT is equipped with two clearance-mounting holes, enabling easy integration with other compatible mounts, positioners, and rod clamps. Its robust construction incorporates precision-engineered ball and V-groove kinematic pivots that ensure both thermal stability and consistent angular alignment over time. This mount is equipped with high-resolution adjustment screws that engage hardened carbide inserts. This feature guarantees not only precise beam placement but also minimal cross-coupling, resulting in smooth and reliable adjustments. Additionally, this mount offers a tilt and tip range of ±4.5° as well as the capability for accurate beam alignment across extended distances, aligning the laser beam centerline with table holes.
